Parul Thakur's Review on College of Engineering, Bharati Vidyapeeth

I have completed my internship in Sparx IT Solutions, Noida. I have done the internship on Android app development. I got the stipend of INR 5000 from Sparx IT solutions. L&T, Zensar, Fisherv, Mphasis are the key companies came to our college for the campus placement. IT and CS get the highest placement around 75% of the students were placed. Whereas for electronic & telecommunication, around 60% students are placed. The average salary is around INR  3 lakh to INR 4 lakh per annum. The maximum package is 8 lakh per annum. Alumni network of BVPDUCOE, Pune is really good here you can connect with your seniors and juniors during the programs held in college and even in our cultural festival known as Bhartiyam. Bhartiyam is a quite famous fest around the areas and students from other colleges join us as well.

There is college hostel one for boys and one for girls. College hostel fees are around INR 70,000 including food. Our campuses are surrounded by the number of hostels and PGs. Cost of these hostels is lesser than college hostel as they do not include food which ranges from INR 50,000- INR 90,000 and even more depending upon facilities. Even PG's are cheaper than hostels costing around INR 30,000- INR 40,000. Quality of classroom, labs, libraries is pretty good. 

Bharti Vidyapeeth is a deemed University and conducts its own entrance exam called BVP CET. Those students who have more than 60% marks in the 12th Board are applicable to write this exam. Cut-off depends on the performance and marks scored on the entrance exam. On the basis of average performance cut-off is set and then eligible students are called for the counseling session at our campus in Pune. 

Our daily classes timings were from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. An assignment was given on a regular basis after completion of one unit and it has to be submitted within 2 days as well. There is two unit test which is conducted after completion of half syllabus. Basically, we got the project in the final year. Methods of teaching are good. My college life is really good.

My academics fee is INR 90,000 per annum which is excluding of exam fees. Students who all score highest in their academics got scholarships here. Total 6 to 10 is the average number of students who gets scholarships. Loan depends on the student's financial background but I haven't opted for it.

A number of clubs are there on our college campus, every department has its own club other than that there is Leo club and retract club and much more where students get involved in numerous activities. There are two main festivals one is Bhartiyam, where students from all the branches perform with each other and get rewarded. And there is also sports festival which is organized by different departments as well as different clubs. Life in college is full of adventures, here we study, we play and have performed a number of activities within these four years of my college life.
