Placements and Internships
Internship did at NTPC shaktinagar. Most IT companies like TCS Wipro etc, come for placement, companies like Microsoft etc also hire. The average salary is around 6lakhs(INR) per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are enough hostels to accommodate 7000-8000 students may be more. Hostel fees range from 1 lakh(INR) to 2 lakhs(INR) depending upon the facilities availed. Yes, pgs are available around the college, Abode, Estancia to name a few. Food is not that good, edible but never liked it. Food and hostel fees are included together. A classroom is very good, all classes have projectors, few have ACs, all labs are air-conditioned. Wifi is very very good min speed of 20mbps or always available.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I took SRMJEEE, the offline exam I do not know the cutoffs, but secured good rank. I think you need somewhere around 6000 rank minimum to get CSE branch.
Academics and Faculty
Classes run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Projects give at end semester. Tests, there are 2 cycle tests and 1-semester end. The teaching process is good, very good and well-maintained labs. A very good environment for teaching and learning.
Fees and Scholarships
My course fee is 2 lakhs(INR) per annum. 10% fee waiver on having 9.0 CGPA and above CGPA. 4-5% to get the scholarships. Yes, loans may be needed, the college collaborates with banks like SBI to provide loans.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs like Google club, Microsoft club, Mozilla club, etc, many motor racing clubs and robotics clubs are there too. Main festivals include AARUUSH, MILAN and many more, there are many sports events held throughout the year. College life is pretty good, nice enjoyable environment. Lots of greenery and roads and parks to walk and sit around, JAVA green is the main place to have food outside the mess.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 60% of the intermediate score is the major eligibility criteria. The only entrance exam for admission in this college is SRMJEE. around 220marks are must to get qualified in SRMJEE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The basic eligibility criteria to join SRMIST is you must have at least scored 65% aggregate in PCM in your 12th class. Secondly, you have to write the entrance exam conducted by SRM known as SRMJEEE. The cutoff marks cannot be predicted. However, if you get the counselling call letter and your rank falls in top 50%ile of the total students called then there are healthy chances that you'll get any desired branch.
