Companies like CTS, Amazon, Sutherland, Infosys, TCS are visiting every year. Average salary Rs 2,20,000(INR.) Highest salary is Rs 3,50,000(INR). Each year B.com, BBA, and B.CA are more selected. Alumni is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls Rs 70,000(INR) per year. They charge for a hostel. The food is bad inside the hostel and the Amount is covered in hostel fee Average classrooms, Awesome library, Good labs, Wifi in the hostel is good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The entrance exam is required. The average cutoff for passing the entrance exam is 40%.
Academics and Faculty
I took evening shift timing 1:30 am to 6:05 pm. Monthy a class internal test is conducted and some assignments are given to students for their internal mark. Teaching needs to be improved and overall experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
Rs 60,000(INR) P.A. Sports quotas, SC caste quota 25%. No loans are needed, if you want a loan you can go to state bank of India (SBI) or Indian overseas bank (IOB).
Clubs and Associations
There are NSS, NCC clubs College cultural, Vels family day, Sports day, and department functions. The life in Vels university is enjoyable but the quality of education we cant expect as same.
