Pankhuri Jain's Review on Ramaiah Institute of Technology

I did an internship at J Wings Manifest Wealth, a startup which deals in Forex Market. As the placements are still going on, the companies that came to campus have come for the marketing and sales profile. The salaries start from INR 2.5 lakhs per annum and the highest salary is around INR 6.5 lakhs per annum. The alumni network is not good.

The college has two hostels for boys and one girl's hostel. The hostel fee is INR 1 lakh per annum. The college has got 2 canteens one is in the Law Block and other in ESB Block. the food is good and it costs INR 40-50.

The candidate must clear the CMAT exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute.  Minimum 70% cutoff mark is required.

Classes start from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Exams are based on semester system. projects will be in the 4th semester from March to June. The faculties are experienced and some faculties have industry experience. My overall experience has been quite good.

My course fee is INR 54,390 per annum. You might have to pay more if you are submitting your CAT, MAT, CMAT or KMAT scores. The fees for students who submitted their PGCET scores have to pay very less. For scholarships, you need to talk to the admissions department as it is applicable to the entire college.

The life in college is really good. The club relevant for MBA students apart from NSS is EDC, where people come up with great business ideas. The main festivals in campus are Kannada Rajyotsava held in November, sports meet in October-November, Udbhav- the annual college fest in April, Avishkar the engineering technical fest and Vishesh-the management fest, which is held once in every two years.
