Placements and Internships

2.5

Placements in our college are not that great. For E&C branch we didn't get any Core companies. Most of the IT companies recruit for Technical Support and only a few companies hire for Developer/Testing roles.Excellent placement training was provided for us when we were in last semester. The key recruiters are Infosys, Unisys, Microland and L&T. The average salary will be around INR 3,00,000 per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

2.5

Infrastructure is not that great but now they are improving a lot. College lies in the centre of the city and well connected by public transport which is the main advantage. There are girls hostel within the campus and boys hostel is situated in J C road.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

One can join Vemana through KCET, COMEDK or opt for Management seat. There are no eligibility criteria for joining.

Academics and Faculty

4

Teaching is pretty good and they cover most of the syllabus. Faculties are friendly which is the best part. Ideally, the college timings would be at 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Fees and Scholarships

4

For students who get seats through CET has to pay the fees prescribed by the CET Cell. For me, it was around INR 50,000 per annum. College provides scholarships for the toppers in each branch and for all the students who score above 75% in the academic year.

Clubs and Associations

4

The college has an IEEE student branch. College fest will be held during even semester.

Fees & Scholarships : The college fee is INR 17000/- per year with the government fees about 35000/- so total around 52000/- per year which has to be paid at the beginning of every year. The scholarship is available for sc/sc and a category students. And also scholarships for those who score FCD(above 70)in both the sems in the respective year. The average number of the students getting scholarship would depend on the students eligible for scholarships. There is ICICI and Karnataka bank nearby college which is helpful for paying fees and etc..
