Placements and Internships
I didn't get any stipend or internship. Companies like TCS, Johnson controls, Capgemini, real eye, Surya telecom and many others had visited in our college. They had hired around 4-7 students on average. The pass out batches seniors was also placed in many companies.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
3 hostel for boys and 1 for girls. The hostel fees were INR 800 per month. The food was average. Classrooms are okay. But there was very poor.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I had to appear in WBJEE to get admission into UIT. The cut-offs for ECE in UIT was between 7000 & 8000(not sure about that).
Academics and Faculty
Classes usually start from 10 am and last till 5:30 pm. The teachers were not good at all. VThe college infrastructure was average. Some Teachers are friendly and cheerful.
Fees and Scholarships
My course fee was INR 61000 per year. The scholarship was mainly available for minority, sc, St and tuition fee waiver student.
Clubs and Associations
There was no such association but students used to gather for occasions, mainly cultural technical fest, and many more.
