PCM subjects with minimum 70% mark & based on ranking in JEE MAIN. Yes, there was an entrance exam. if anyone with the PCM subject can qualify the exam can enter the course.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria as such is a minimum of 50% in your 12th. I got in through scholarship, anybody who has got above 90% receives the scholarship in amity and does not have to give any entrance test. Normally, they do conduct a basic English test and interview.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for BSC(agriculture) was 60% in 12th boards with PCB/PCM. The entrance was very easy only english grammer was asked. Then personal interview was taken in which questions from bio and chemistry was asked.
