Parul Aggarwal's Review on Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi

Placements of this college are not that much good as any other college of Delhi University. As only selective companies come to hire the students and that too mainly for B.com students.

Hostels are not available but yes PG’s are available and they are too good. College canteen is one of the best canteens I have ever seen in any other college. Cheaply and variety of food is available. Wifi is there in college but not working properly. Libraries are quite good in which wifi connectivity is good as compared to any other area in college.

Motilal Nehru college of Delhi University is having the same criteria of admission like any other college of Delhi University. Firstly, we need to fill up the common form which will be available online and offline both. After this wait for the cut off until you find your percentage is falling in that cut off the list and the course, you want to pursue. If you want to go for B.A Economics honors, then you need minimum 95% in 12th standard. There is no entrance based admission for this course. You just need to work hard in class 12 for getting admission and pursue this course. Mainly cut-offs for economics honors fall between 93% to 98%.

Classes are always on regular basis. Teachers are well qualified and projects assignment marks are given by them. Teaching is good but there are some teachers who are lacking somewhere and won’t be able to complete course on time. But if I say about overall performance than it is good.

My course fee is around Rs 5000(INR) per year. Scholarships are mainly available for the students who are in sports and have done extremely well in their course.

Societies are one of the best parts of Delhi University. In this college each and every society is available which we can join according to our interest. Life in college is good for those who actively take part in activities, societies and explore something new every day.
