Placements in this college are enormous placements for all the branches of bachelor's of technology. Many reputed firms and companies sites for the recruitment of the students.There is no such thing called as an average package, different companies offer different salaries.Most of them are software companies or management firms.

The university conducts its entrance exam called VITEEE, has no negative marking.You need to score good and ranks under 50000 are called for the selection process.

VIT follows a unique FFCS (Fully Flexible Credit System) for their academics, in which students are allowed to choose the subjects and the faculty of their choice depending upon the availability.The quality and method of teaching of the faculties are a bit advanced. They use smart boards for the regular class teachings and is very interesting.The overall experience in the college is commendable. The college has a co-ed study environment and is very friendly especially to the students belonging from north India.

There are different phases of fee structures ie, for phase the fees in 2014 was around Rs 1,55,000(INR) P.A. For phase 2 it keeps on increasing until phase 4. I got 19000 ranks and was in phase 1 registration. Top rank holders of state get a scholarship. Indian Bank provides student loans(if needed) to the students as they are linked with VIT.

There are many NGO, Clubs, and societies of the college which provide a great exposure to the students to enhance their skills in various aspects.The main festivals of VIT are Riviera and Gravitas.These are one of the biggest technical fests in India.The college life is soothing in general.Students get to have an exposure on about how to live their lives in a systematic manner.The crowd of the students studying here is very decent.
