Currently, I'm not going through an internship. Top companies like Intel, Broadcom, PayPal, SAP Labs, Honeywell, Siemens, Volvo, Robert Bosch, Renault Nissan, Alcatel Lucent, Danfoss, etc are the regular recruiters for VIT University. The job profile may include all the roles like IT, Manufacturing, Finance, marketing, Sales. The average salary of the students who are recruited in the above companies are 3-4.5 LPA and highest salary is more than 20 LPA. About 80% students got placed in the previous batch. VIT has a good connection with its alumni members and it does not fail in providing career opportunities for them.

There are 6 girls hostels and more than 15 mins hostels. Hostel cost is based on the type of room students prefer, like AC or NON-AC rooms and single bedded to 6 bedded rooms. PGs cost less than the hostels and it won't be safe for girls. There are 3 food courts, canteens, Nescafe's, snacks shops inside the campus and mess inside each block of hostels. Food price is little higher than outside. Classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls are built to high international standards to provide excellent infrastructure to students. Wifi is provided with a fixed plan of 8GB/month for every student.

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech (Integrated) Software Engineering is the candidates should have completed higher secondary education. Candidates should have 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. There is no entrance exam for this course. The admission process is based on higher secondary percentage. The online application will be released in both online as well as offline mode. The date of counseling for candidates will be posted on the website.

VIT follows FFCS system. The main advantage of this system is students can select their own timings and faculties for each semester. The method of teaching is made digital and we are taking exams in digital pads which will easy for evaluation. VIT is the smallest city inside Vellore. Students enjoy in both academic and social.

The course fee is divided into 3 categories. The 1st category will be around 1(INR) lakh and 2nd, 3rd will 50 thousand more than the other. Caste scholarships, star students scholarships are provided to students. 25% of students get scholarships. Many banks provide loans for students if they successfully cleared all subjects in a semester.

There are about 20 clubs and chapters in the VIT. It includes sports, social, cultural, technical events around the college. Gravitas is the technical fest and Riviera is the cultural fest of VIT. VIT provides all opportunities to its students to explore the world. Every student will never forget their life in VIT.
