Placements and Internships
Had real time internship in media via seniors. They do hire but for journalism we do join as interns and then make it full time. 60% will be placed. There is good alumni network especially for arts.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are many hostels and accommodation is comfortable. Quality of classrooms are awesome.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
12th grade marks were sufficient and should enter counselling process separate for arts and engineering. Entrance exams were not considered for journalism, I had state board cut off and it is 173.
Academics and Faculty
Classes will be interesting and will have real time projects with media conjugates. Can expect good quality. Will have fun in SRM as always.
Fees and Scholarships
Depends on quota, For Journalism there are no scholarships. Loans are given by reputed banks.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs. Culturals will have a great bloom every year. Dept fests are there but out reach will be there for cultural events.
