Placements and Internships
The main recruiter is TCS but some other companies are also recruiting like FIDELITY, SMARTPRIX, DIRECTRIX, etc. The average salary is INR 25,000 and almost 75% are placed. Alumni network is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. The hostel fee is INR 3500 per month. PG's are available at a distance of 5km in the main city. Food is ok. Wifi facility is under improvement. Classrooms are good. The library is really good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The candidate must clear the JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. The cutoff rank must be below 79,000 for EE and below 23,000 for CSE.
Academics and Faculty
Class starts at 9 am and end at 4 pm. Not many assignments are given to freshers. Method of teaching is same as school. Overall, it's a good college.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is INR 45,000 per annum. very few scholarship options are available. Every 6 student in each branch gets full tuition fee concession. Bank loans are availed from any banks.
Clubs and Associations
Most of the societies are non technical. 2 festivals are there RHYTH the annual cultural fest and TECHNOVA the annual techfest. Annual sports meet is organized every year. College life is pretty good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Being a state government university, the admissions in Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is based on the score of JEE MAIN entrance examination. I gave the JEE MAIN 2013 examination and during that year, the overall cutoff for admission in my branch(i.e. computer science engineering) was 40,000 AIR.
