Placements and Internships
Did a few content writing related internships at a minimal stipend. Not much companies come to hire mechanical engineers, unless needed. Average salary package would be 2-3LPA
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls, within the campus itself. There are lot of PG's available in the close vicinity of the college. PG works out cheaper than hostel. The canteen serves good food. The caterers keep changing every few months. Rest of the infrastructure is really good. Have a ground, 2 basketball courts and a volleyball/throwball court. The classrooms and labs are well equipped too.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Admission is through CET. The cut off was around 19000 rank. Once you clear the cut off and alloted the seat, fill up the application form at college.
Academics and Faculty
The staff is good in terms of teaching and imparting knowledge. Regular assignments, which was hectic. Nevertheless, good internal marks. The college life experience was really amazing. Helped me to grow personally and intellectually.
Fees and Scholarships
Since I got in via CET under GM, fee was close to Rs. 60,000/- per year. For other students joining in otherwise, it was close to Rs. 1.5lakh per year.
Clubs and Associations
There are lot of clubs and associations which do benefit the students. There's an annual fest, Cultura, happening every even semester in a year. Overall, the college life is good and an enriching experience.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Cutoffs for mechanical engineering is around 2000 to 6000. I have cleared D-CET exam my cutoffs is 3067. In my college faculties are well experienced. Well placement training are giving. Lab facility is good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in CMR Institute of Technology you would require to secure good marks in either of the 2 entrance exams ,i.e. COMEDK or KCET. I secured 11478th rank in comedk and was eligible for mechanical branch. To get into IT branches, one should secure within 9000. The eligibility criteria for taking the exam is that the candidate must have finished his/her PUC or 12th standard.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You are eligible if you have passed the 12th exam from any of the affiliated education board. You can get admission through KCET(if you are from karnataka) and COMEDK UGET(if you are from states other than karnataka). I took admission through COMEDK UGET. You can take admission also through management quota. The typical cutoff for mechanical engineering is from 1-17000 rank that is 70 and above.
