Placements and Internships

4

Being in industrial, specially in the city of TATA  helps it a lot in placement. In general above 80% of maximum branch students are placed. In branches like CSE and ECE the figure is around 90.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

2

It is the region in which this college is quite weak. The academic building is still so old but the hostel facility is very nice.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

One can get his/her admission through JEE Mains exam. Mainly the admission depends upon their rank. Generally below 10,000 rank admission is easily possible here.

Fees and Scholarships

3

It is a government college, fees is quite less than the private college  INR 1,25,000 per annum is the tution fee. Including hostel and other charges (which are compulsory) . Here there are several oppurtunities for scholarship.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

There are several clubs in NIT Jamshedpur which has their own identity. One has many oppurtunities to perform their talent not only through knowledge but also through other activities (like cultural, speaking, sports etc.).

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission in NIT JAMSHEDPUR by clearing JEE MAIN exam in the year 2013 with electrical and electronics as my stream. The cutoff for EEE BRANCH was 23000 for home state and approx 15000 for outside state students. The college is one of the premiere Institute of our nation and in terms of placement, it holds 2nd position amongst the other Nits.
