Placements and Internships
Key companies are TCS, CTS, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT etc.The average salary is around INR 4 -5 lakhs per annum. Highest salary is around INR 16 lakhs p.a. About 90-95 % of students are placed. Alumni network is good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There is only one hostel and that costs around INR 85000 per annum. Quality of food is good in the college and costs around 50 RS per meal.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Admission is through the WBJEE(west Bengal joint entrance exam)exam, the cutoff rank for my course(BTECH-CSE) is about AIR 2000 in WBJEE exam.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every day, except Sunday and Monday as Sunday and Monday are holiday. Quality and method of teaching is very good. Overall experience in the college is good.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is around 1 lakhs per annum. Students who are living in West Bengal gets the scholarship of about 50% recession in their course fee if their parent's income is less than 1 lakhs per annum.
Clubs and Associations
There are several societies for each branch of engineering headed under the guidance of teachers.clubs such as football club, music club, dance club etc are also present in the college. Main festivals are tech fest, cultural fest, fresher's party, farewell party etc. Life in college is overall good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : One has to give the WBJEE exam to get admission in this college and to have scored a rank up to 7500.generally cutoffs differ from time to time.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance exam accepted are Wbjee, IemJee and also jee(mains). The college also rakes admission through management quota. The eligibility criteria vary from year to year but the person must have a minimum of 60 in PCM. The cutoff for WBJEE is around 5000 rank through which I got into IEM.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is we have to get atleast 70% average marks in +12 level exam... This college takes there student through west bengal joint interance examination or JEE MAIN. For WBJEE you have to rank above 4500 for your admission .. and JEE MAIN you have to rank above 60000. Some management quota is also available here.
