Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in any of the NITs, one will have to appear for JEE MAIN and should have 75% aggregate or should be in top 20 percentile in class 12 board. After the declaration of result of JEE MAIN, JOSSA organizes a counseling for admission in different NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs. All those students who have appeared for jee mains can apply for the counseling. The process of counseling has almost 6-7 rounds, and according to ranks, seats are allowed in different colleges. For different branches, the cutoffs ranks are different. It changes every year according to the demand of branch. If seats remain vacant, then special rounds of counseling are also conducted by CSAB.
