I did an internship during my 2nd year at a company outside the college. I’ve heard from my seniors that Big companies such as Infosys and much more come to our college for placements and I believe that a decent number of students get placed every year.
There are hostels for girls, boys and luxury hostels for NRI STUDENTS. I’m a day scholar and I’ve heard from my friends who stay at the hostel that the hostel food is kinda bad. The price for the meals at the canteen for day scholars are pretty high too. Quality of classroom environment, I think is fine. The library is huge and wifi is provided only for hostellers.
The eligibility criteria for my course was an 80/200 score on NATA and it was also mandatory that I had a good percentage of my 12th grade.
The daily routine is 7 hours a day. We are provided with breaks in between class hours. Continuous assessments done by teachers and they are student friendly. The overall experience is that the campus is a student-friendly campus.
For the first year alone it was INR 200000 and for the rest of the four years, it sums to INR 165000 p.a. Scholarships are being provided quota wise. Loans may be needed for people from low-income backgrounds and it can be easily availed from localised banks.
We have department cultural events and many department oriented events are organised very often within the campus for the benefit of the students.
