Placements and Internships
The college encourages the students to do internships. The department plays a vital role in these matters. I had done 2 internships with no stipend. The placements of the college depend on the department and course.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility and PG is there but not aware of the details. Quality of classrooms are good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
CMRIT accepts all candidates who have written entrance exams such CET, COMEDK UGET, etc. The cutoff drops every year and is dependant on the demand for students taking up the course. During my admissions, the cutoff for COMEDK was 15000.
Academics and Faculty
Daily routine is structured such that your are well prepared for the corporate life. The college consists of many experienced and qualified teachers. I had a really amazing experience in this college and especially in my department.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is as per your entrance criteria and completely in the hands of the administration. Many scholarship programs are there and good number of students recieve it.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs in college and each club is very active. The college focuses more on cultural festivals. The life in college is really entertaining.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I gave the COMEDK UGET entrance examination in the month of May-2013 to join an engineering college in Karnataka. The exam was conducted in Bengaluru and a lot of students wrote the exam. The exam pattern was objective type questions and with no negative markings. The eligibility criteria were having Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 12th standard. The exams questions were simple but little tricky. Out of 180 questions, I answered around 168 questions as no negative marking were there. The rest I wasn't able to do because of time constraints. Some of them were randomly answered. The cutoff generally varies depending on the toughness of the paper and the availability of seats in different college.
