Anjali Nair's Review on TKM College - Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering

The alumni network brings in several opportunities for the students to excel in every field. Companies approach our college for intelligent students with potential which they succeed in finding out.

There are a total of 6 hostels for the college students. The hostel fee ranges between INR 4000 to 5000 per month. The food is healthy in the college and costs INR 40 per meal. Infrastructure includes mechanical workshops, labs, established libraries, wifi services etc.

The eligibility criteria for admission was NATA and KEAM with a minimum eligibility score of 70.

Classes, exams and assignments go on periodically without delay. The teachers are well educated and welcome inquisitive students. The methodology of teaching varies with teachers. Overall the college maintains a discipline and standard according to its tradition.

Course fee for B.Arch is INR 8000 per year. Students with economically weak background are availed with scholarships such as E-Grande, meals-cum-merit etc. Maximum of 4 or 5 students get certain scholarships. Not everyone who applied would get the privileges of scholarship. The best deserving students are selected from the applied ones.

The various clubs for students development are IEDC, UNAI, STEPS, TPC, Dance Club, Music Club, Nss, etc. The main events of the college are Rithu, Hridyam, Sukrita, Conjura etc. Life in the college is filled with so much of positive vibes.
