No internships as of now but looking forward to it. As for my batch, core companies that come are Musigma, ELGI, national instruments, Bosch etc. For computer department, many companies like Bosch tech, Google, Microsoft, and all Android companies. For core, it's probably INR 4 lakhs per annum, for CS its INR 10 lakhs p.a. The alumni network is really well set.
There are 6 boys and 6 girls hostels on the campus. Hostels are okay. Per year hostel fee is INR 20000. Hostel food quality is a big problem. It costs us nearly INR 36.66 per meal. Classrooms, labs, library, dining hall, wifi and other infrastructures are good.
For admission to this college, +2 board marks are considered.
The classes start from 8:30 am in the morning to 4:30 pm in the evening. Teaching is quite okay. College is overall is good except for the food quality.
The course fee is around INR 1.51 lakhs. Actually, there are scholarships for students whose father is in defence, other than that I don't think there is any criteria for scholarship. The average number of students would be between 25%-30%. Loans are needed and they can be easily taken any bank in which your account is.
There are few student organised fests, such as Kalotsavam(cultural fest), vidyut(tech fest), Robotsavam(tech fest) etc. Annual sports day is also organised by the college, apart from this inter amrita fest is organised by the college for various sports.
