Placements and Internships
I have not done any internship yet but I am looking forward to getting one this year. The average salary in the placements is about INR 7 to 8 lakhs p.a. Good Alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
We have about 9 - 10 hostels. Infrastructure is really good as we have a 360-acre campus at Vellore branch. The quality of classrooms is average. The library is very big.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
VIT conducts its own entrance exam named as VITEEE every year for admission. Students currently in 12th class or passes outs can write the exam.
The exam is being conducted online and the selection criteria is pretty simple similar to every other college. Once you get selected based on the exam, you have to come to any one of the 4 campuses for the counselling process.
Academics and Faculty
We can select the faculty by ourselves and the timings are nice. The class starts from morning 8 am to evening 8 pm. Overall experience is good in VIT.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee depends on the branch. It is INR 2 lakhs per year for computer science. About 5000 - 6000 students get a scholarship of INR 50000 per year. No loans needed.
Clubs and Associations
There are many clubs in VIT, including the technical and management teams. I am in 'RoboVITics' club. The main events are 'GraVITas' and 'Riverira' which happen every year. My life is going well in VIT Vellore.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is passing 12th with good marks atleast around 85%. Apply for VITEEE (which is entrance exam to get into college) and give the exam. It has maths, physics, chemistry, english and logical questions. Try to get good rank in the exam. The cutoff for cse is very high. But you can get a seat even with rank around 25k with 5th category.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are no eligibility criteria but you have to write an exam named VITEEE where your marks scored in the exam and the admission will be done as per the rank from 1 to 100000.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance was relatively easy compared to JEE Main. The questions were quick to solve and direct. The examination type was online.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To be eligible you should have passed class 12th or in 12th. You need to take VITEEE exam. Rank cutoffs for CSE are around 4000.
