I am doing a paid content writing internship online. Last year I worked as a peer educator in an NGO for my psychology internship. Second-year JPEng students are required to do a compulsory media internship in the summer. JPEng has an excellent alumni network.
The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. There are various shops inside college where excellent and affordable food is available. The average meal costs around INR 40(INR) per meal.
Above average marks in 12th Board, good writing skills and there will be a written test and good interview skills. A sound knowledge of the course you're taking, along with confidence in your abilities and skills. Presence of mind and general knowledge is also required for the interview.
Classes are usually from 9 am to 4 pm. A variety of creative projects and assignments will be given to students as a part of their internal assessment. The teaching staff is excellent, with all having real media exposure. The overall college experience is very satisfactory.
The course fee is Rs40,000(INR) per year. Scholarships for around 3000 students are available who score above 70% in all the semesters and have attendance above 85%.
There are hundreds of clubs and societies in the college. The media department has various clubs as well. The college is known for its extravagant fests and events from each department, like Bloom, Blossoms, MUN etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The 10th board examination result cut off was 94% and if we passed it we were eligible for the admission.

Fees & Scholarships : 38,000 INR is the annual fee. No, I don't think so loans are required.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : You need a good score in your boards to join here. I had around 95% and there isn't any entrance exam. Around 94 % was the qualifying cut-off.
