Entrance Exams and Admissions
The entrance into Birla Institute of Technology and Science or BITS-Pilani was through a national level entrance test called BITSAT. Eligibility criteria included passing 12th standard, taking PCM in 12th and some other minor criteria. The admission procedure was completely online. The cutoff for computer science is around 85% of marks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Bits Pilani is a premium private institute in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. The eligibility criteria for entering the institute is to be 18 years and should have been qualified 10+2 with minimum 60 percent aggregate in the 10+2 exams. The institute conducts its own entrance test known as BITSAT on the basis of which it admits the students. The cutoff generally varies over a large range of different courses, the cutoff for my course i.e. computer science and engineering was 382 in the previous year.
