I have not done any internship, mainly IT companies like HCL, TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan etc come for placements. The average salary offered is INR 3,00,000-4,50,000 per annum. RAIT has a strong alumni network.

The infrastructure is great. classrooms are spacious with advanced noise reduction. Laboratories are well equipped and advanced. The library has all the necessary books along with computers for research. wifi is available. Legends cafe has a variety of food items at affordable prices.

4.5

The college timing is from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Weekly assignments are given, each lecture is 1 hour. The college has smart board technology and advanced audio-visual aids. The faculty is very helpful and generous. Overall academic experience is great.

The fee is INR 1 lakh per annum. The scholarships like EBC, TFWS are available for the students. Around 40% of the students avail it.

Clubs and Associations

4

RAIT has many student societies. SUC is students body that carries out all the cultural activities and events. IEEE, ITSA, CSI, IETE etc are some of the societies on the campus. Horizon is an intercollegiate annual cultural festival. It is amongst the top college festivals in Navi Mumbai. College life in RAIT is great.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are simply 12th(from Science Stream + JEE MAINS) and admission procedure is same as for each and every college of engineering in Mumbai. After each and every CAP round we see a huge queue outside office but my case was different, I was selected in CAP-III (counseling round, which took place at two colleges Mumbai and Vidyalankar Institute of Technology) where I have chosen RAIT from updated List and at college premises I just need to fill 1-2 forms and had to submit some documents. For engineering, I had taken JEE( Joint Entrance Exam). As I already said, I was selected for counselling round. So I don't know much about Cutt-offs but intake is pretty heavy(120 students/ branch) for each stream, with the pretty decent score you can definitely get this college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : MH-CET, the college review campus and placement record was too good. It was normal cap round as suggested bye DTE. It took hardly a day to complete the process and get into college. It was very well defined and designed by Mumbai university
