Placements and Internships
As for internships and stipend, I have no clue as I’ve only joined recently. Key companies that hire Here are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Bosch, Schindler and Larsen and Turbo. The highest salary package offered was around INR 20L Per Annum and the college has a placement percentage of around 88% with the other 12% either going for higher studies(masters) or setting up their own startup.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are a lot of hostels and rooms for the students. But the quality is not all that great. The food is below average. The quality of classrooms and infrastructure of library and labs are really good. The wifi is really slow.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
An entrance exam AMRITA Entrance exam (AEEE) was conducted. And for ECE, one must have a ranking within 13,000.
Academics and Faculty
Classes start from 8:45 am to 4 pm with a few free periods in between. A few faculties are really good but a few are not up to the standards but the good faculties outnumber the bad ones by a large number.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is INR 3.3L per year. And there are scholarship offers of up to 90% available.
Clubs and Associations
There are a lot of clubs like SAE, t-know and many other clubs for the students and by the students. The main tech fest is Anorkha and the Life in college is good.
