Sastra offers almost 100% campus placement. A verity of companies from different fields come for campus interviews. Some of the prominent ones are TVS, TCS, ASHOK LEYLAND, AMAZON and more. TCS offers a package of 3,50,000 rupees per annum. The alumni network is quite strong.
There are 12 hostels. 7 for boys and 5 for girls with proper mess and restrooms. These hostels are inside the campus. The fee is INR 8000 to 18000 per year. The mess fee is INR 3500 per month. Each department has a library. Wifi is provided throughout the campus.
Sastra University is a deemed university which has two streams of entrence. One is the joint entrance exam (JEE MAIN) and the other the board exam marks. 70% of the seats are allotted by jee score and the rest is by +2 board marks.
Timing is from 8.45 am to 5.25 pm. 3 assignments will be given for each semester. The faculties are experienced and the students are allowed to choose their own faculties. The campus is really good and a number of opportunities are provided for the overall development of the student.
The course fee is INR 90,000 per annum. Scholarships are given based on the academic performance and the attendance of the students. There is a deans list for students. The average number will be around 25. Loans are easily available.
There are different types of clubs in Sastra University, ranging from dance, music, filmmaking, photography, arts, drama, languages, exnora, plasma and NCC. KURUKSHETRA the cultural fest, DAKSH the technical fest and COLOSSEUM, the sports fest are celebrated here. College life in Sastra is generally good. The infrastructure is really good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There is no entrance test for this university, it all depends on the basis of AIEEE score and intermediate marks and reservations are according to locality. I took different entrance tests for different universities but this is best among them. The cutoff for the mechanical branch is 75% AIEEE score and 25% from the intermediate score. Generally, every department has the same cutoff for this deemed university
