Placements and Internships
- Well i have talked about foreign internships before; regional or national internships opportunities are extremely good.There are alot of companies that visit during your pre-final year to recruit you as an intern which majorly includes Goldman Sachs,Reliance,Morgan Stanley,Sterlite,schlumberger and many more.
- Regarding placements,100% placements take place for streams like CSE,EEE,ECE every year with an average salary of 8 lakhs INR.Other branches placement status varies every annual year but if you are good at it,you will surely be hired.
- Moreover off-core companies also recruit 40% of the entire batch in the feild of managemnt,analytics,software,IT etc, eg;IBM,WIPRO,INFOSYS,MU-SIGMA,LATENT VIEW,FUTURE FIRST etc.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Well I can bet that you'll be starled once you vist the campus and see its infrastructure.To be honest its mindblowing.
- Starting from the classes, the labs, the mess ,the library and every inch of the college provides you a state of art facilty.But if you are a sports person you would not feel the same.For extra curricular activities NITW can be considered as good but not A+.
Academics and Faculty
- Technically,consider yourself in a very good position if you have enrolled in streams like CSE,EEE,ECE, whole world will be at your feet once you complete your 4 years of graduation.Other Branches (Mechanical,Biotechnology,Chemical Engg,Metallurgy and Material sciences and Civil) cannot be considered as excellent if you have the PLACEMENT PROSPECT in your mind,but still there is a lot of potential,positivity and opportunities if you are a hardworker and if you have an excellent CGPA.
- Coming to academics,I'd say its tough,and you have to study hard if you dont want to be knocked out of the race.4 years of graduation,divided into 8 semesters and each semester would be having 4 exams.But dont get dissapointed you'll be having ample amount of time to enjoy and live your college life.
- Faculty is more than ordinary and for sure you will have your every doubt cleared at NIT Warangal
Fees and Scholarships
- Since it is an government institute the tuition fee is nominal,plus there are scholarships for the poor and needy students who have their family's annual income less than 2 lakh INR.
- Scholarships of 35000 INR is also available to the top 3 students of each branch.
- PLUS,reserved candidates can also avail scholarships which depends upon their category.
Clubs and Associations
- There are a lot of clubs and associations in the college like literary and debating club,dance and dramatic club,music club,innovation and entrepreneurship club and lots & lots. Surely they will make your life in college intersting and busy.For sports facilities are available and you can play if you want to but the college focuses more on academics and i am pretty sure you will not be granted any extra credits even if you become the next Sachin Tendulkar.
