College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- College of Engineering Jagtial (Karimnagar) provides hostel accommodation for girls and boys Mess facilities are also available. The hostel accommodating 900 students as listed. Coming to campus life , life at JNTUH College of Engineering Jagtial has proven to be always great and exciting extending a unique experience and cherishable memoirs to students. It provides an amalgam of modern, traditional, spiritual and academic environment. The location of sprawling campus surrounded by lush green hills, temples and academic ambience upholds the traditional and cultural values among the students. The College has an Automated Library with 14,100 volumes of books in different disciplines with 750 titles. One of the features of the college library is the provision of exclusive book banks for SC & ST students. The library subscribes over 20 Journals/Magazines and shortly it is proposed to construct a new library edifice in the middle of the hill top, which would facilitate accession of library books to the faculty and students of various departments. The college has new digital library with full fledged E-Library facilities which is the under process of operation.
Academics and Faculty
- JNTUHCEJ has its own schedule . Everyone should come by 10: 00 am to the college and attend classes and in case you did not attend the classes you will be marked down in your attendence record . Again FYI some times it depends on the professor . When people ask me about assignments in the college its a pretty good work that which you get, i mean you need to fill loads of papers. There is no choice of selecting the papers in terms of Optional subjects. What professor has dicided you need to follow that .
- Quality is really good with some professores but on the other side of the coin i can't tell you . One of the best thing about the college is that we have faculty on campus . So that when ever you have doubt you can call them and take their assistance.
Fees and Scholarships
- Irrespective of any religion or cast if your father's income is less than 1,00,000 you will get 100% Scholarship from JNTU. If you belongs to any family who are working in Govt you cannot avail any penny from them though you are really poor .
