Placements and Internships

4

The placement cell is professionally executed. However, the placement process is restrictive and biased in the sense that students are categorised and made to sit for placements based on their discipline, not interests and abilities. Like only corporates come for economics and commerce, completely neglecting the fact that students of these disciplines might be interested in other fields too, fields as variable as wildlife protection, editing, journalism, etc.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

The college infrastructure is perfect. The college's history, legacy, essence and spirit are captured within its walls. It is a home and a school combined.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

The faculty members liberal-minded, cooperative, supportive and erudite group of teachers who are an inspiration, though one cannot say that for every department particularly. The curriculum is totally dependent on the teacher who makes it interesting. However, they are all bound by the dictates of completing a vast syllabus and the narrow focus on examinations. There is no such backing for research work, guidance and interaction with students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There wasn't any entrance exam for the admission, it was purely based on merit. The cut-offs are really high compared to other du colleges.
