Our college timings are from 9:00 AM to 4:20 PM. Our lecturers will give us the projects and also guide us to do it. We will be having assignments on each and every subject. The faculties are super talented. They will be explaining the topics in an easy way to get into our minds. The quality of teaching is extraordinary. The faculties will be explaining the topics practically and through some videos, so the students can understand easily. My overall experience in college is nice and superb.

We don't have campus hostel. Our college recommends some private hostels. The hostel will be clean and tidy always. The fee for the hostels on an average is INR 3700 per month. We can also choose high range deluxe hostels which will be costly. The food in the college canteen is available at the cheap rates.

We have a huge library with a collection of more than 20000 books. The college has an excellent wifi facility. The labs are superb. We also have a big college ground.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Production Engineering), batch of 2011 3/10
FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP: Some little scholarships available for minority students. But nothing significant...........................................................
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK: Had tieups with infosys when graduated. But after becoming university, standards have gone down a lot..........................
INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION: has big old buildings. Located at one end of city(Avadi). Commute to college is cheap via train. Labs are pathetic to say the least. Old instruments and insufficient technicians > Less furniture
HOSTELS & FOOD: Hostels and hostel food is worst. Though i am not a hosteller, i know the conditions. You are better off if u find urself a group of friends are rent a room nearby
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS: There arent many. NEN was something that went well. Mech & Aero students can join SAE. They participate in yearly competions. Nothing much other than these two
SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE: NA..............................................................................................................

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Agricultural Engineering), batch of 2016 6/10
ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Like hundreds of engineering institutes in the country, St. Peter's Engineering College (SPEC) falls behind when it comes to providing admirable teachers. First years experience satisfactory teaching in more than half the subjects but in the later years the quality of education deteriorates severely. Except the CSE department (and the IT department to some extent), all other departments are said to have an acute shortage of good teachers. Some even face trouble communicating in fluent English and often switch to regional languages.
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK: St. Peter's Engineering College (SPEC) claims to have placed around 100 students into companies like Google, HCL, Chevron, Omega Maritime, etc. from the first batch that passed out in 2011. However, final year students beg to differ alleging that hardly 20-25 of them actually got their call letters. The college is still in its nascent stages and the real picture will be clearer only after a couple of more batches pass out. &nbs...

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Civil Engineering), batch of 2020 8/10

Eligibility Criteria was that candidate should be passed 10+2 examination. The admission process was easy. My entrance was TS EAMCET. The cutoff is 45%.

The key companies like Amazon, Google, Coagnizent, TCS etc. come to our college for hiring students. We have a big alumni network throughout the world.

The college fee is INR 65,000 per year but some of the students will be getting fee reimbursement in which the Government will pay INR 35000 and the student will pay INR 30000 in a year. The scholarships are available for students. Most of the students get the scholarship from the Government. Approx 70% the students get the scholarship.

The class timing is from 9:00 am to 4:20 pm. Assignments and projects are given by our teacher. Teaching quality is good and my overall experience is good.
