The institute has a vast alumni network. It also has some societies like alumni relations cell which help the current students to connect with the alumni of the institute and have their issues resolved.
The infrastructure of the institute is nice. It has many hostels which aim to provide accommodation to all the students enrolled in the institute. There are many PGs also available for people who wish to live outside the college.
To take an admission at IIT Roorkee, a student must qualify the JEE MAIN and Advance. After the results, the seats are allotted through the national counseling conducted by JOSAA. As for the cutoffs, they change every year so predicting cutoffs is baseless.
The daily routine comprises of lectures, tutorials, and practicals related to the courses in which a student has registered. The quality of academics is very good. And the overall experience is overwhelming.
Ample of student loans are available for the payment of the fee by the student. The institute also features many scholarships aimed to help the students with not so good financial backgrounds.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission in my college via jee advanced and cutoff for my course was 900 AIR
Entrance Exams & Admissions : You should have at least 75 % marks in 12th board. You have to clear JEE mains first and then JEE advance. Your rank must be under all India 4000 for pursuing my branch. The cutoff for JEE main varies every year in the range of 85 to 105 marks out of 360 marks. The cutoff of JEE advanced is for every subject i.e physics, chemistry, mathematics which is 10 to 15% marks in every subject.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : First of all, I wanna talk about the eligibility criteria for entering IIT Roorkee. The entrance test you have to give for taking admission in this college is JEE-advanced. I prepared JEE for two years and JEE is one of the hardest tests in India. I am from Metallurgy branch, so cutoff usually depends on criteria. And for general category, you must a score less than 6000 AIR(All India Rank) to get admission in IIT Roorkee Metallurgy branch.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are on the basis of jee advance marks. The cutoff is 110 marks.
