The only major company that comes here is TCS. The average salary is around INR 2.4 lakhs per annum and the highest salary till date is INR 20 lakhs per annum. As I haven't graduated yet, I don't have any idea about the alumni networks.
There are 3 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The private Siddantha hostel is quite good and well maintained. There are many PGs available around the college. The canteen food is good and hygienic and the average cost per meal is around INR 30. The classrooms in the main building are old but well maintained. However, the new silver jubilee building has large modern looking classrooms. There is one public library accessible to all the students and there are also separate libraries for each department. The campus is full wifi enabled but no one knows the password. The college also has an auditorium, a sports complex, a huge ground, and a basketball court.
I got admission through KCET score. The rank in KCET should be below 22000 for the admission.
The daily routine is average in college. You have 7 classes on a full day and 4 classes on a half day. The teachers are quite experienced, hence the quality of teaching is good. The teachers can be approached if you have any doubts on the subject. Overall, I feel quite satisfied with the standard of teaching.
My course per year is INR 35000, but for general students, it is INR 69000. Yes, there are so many scholarship options available if your annual income is below INR 2 lakhs.
There are no students' societies or clubs in the college as they have been banned by the principal. You need special permission if you insist on starting a club. We have two main college fests Maitri (intra-college) and Sanskriti (inter-college). There is also a newly established Ecell which hosts talks on entrepreneurship by various speakers. The life in college is quite good.
