DU is well-known for its internships and good placements. Hindu College is the one which provides the internships for skill development. There is an internship cell (Abhyas) and placement cell (Disha) available on the campus.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

There are separate boys' and girls' hostels available on the premise and have good infrastructure. There are almost all types of food available in the college canteen and cafe within reasonable prices. you can feed yourself in just INR 30. Free wifi available to the students to access the internet, the library has all the books, classrooms are air-conditioned, and the washrooms are very neat and clean as well.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Cut-off for Economics Hons in Hindu College generally goes up to 97.5%. But no entrance exam is required for the admission.

The first lecture starts at 8:50 am, each lecture is for one hour only. Teachers are well qualified and pay attention to each and every student, their method of teaching is good here.

For Economics Hons, the course fee can vary between INR 11000 to INR 15000. Different scholarships are available to the students who belong to different categories. As the fee is affordable, there is not much need to access the loan.

There are plenty of societies available. You can find societies according to your interest. There are societies for dance, fashion, art, internships, placements, singing, etc. You can easily become a part of any society by auditioning for it. Each department organizes its own fest, there is an economics fest known as L'Economiste. There will be a college fest, Mecca that is organized by the college parliament.
