Shripad Mane's Review on SAE - Sinhgad Academy of Engineering

As of now, I have not done any internships but there are so many internships available on the campus. Companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys are mass recruiters in Sinhgad. Apart from these, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, Kirloskar have the recruitment drives too. The average package is INR 3.5 lakhs and you should have minimum 60% to apply for companies. Alumni network is very strong at Sinhgad.

There are 2 hostels available separately for girls and boys. The hostel fee is around INR 60000 per year. The food in canteens is average and would cost around INR 60 per meal. Classrooms are not that good, labs are okay, and the library is also good. WiFi is available on the campus.

The eligibility to apply for engineering is that you need to have at least 50% aggregate in 12th standard with PCM. Admission procedure is done through CAP allotment process. The cut-off for Mechanical Engineering in SAE Kondhwa was 82 percentile when I took admission in 2015. After that, it has increased.

The college hours are mandatory for 8 hours, from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm. Exams are held frequently. Projects start from 3rd year and the assignments are also given as well. Overall the college is very nice.

The course fee is around INR 1 lakh. There are waiver schemes available, around 10% students get scholarships. Loans are available almost from every bank.

There are many clubs available in the college. A lot of events like karandak, purshottam, and firodiya are celebrated here. Also, various tech fests and sports events take place. The college life is amazing.
