Trisha Mehta's Review on Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering

Applied for an internship on Gigindia. Key companies that come for campus placement are Accenture, cognizant, Barclays, IBM, Wipro, etc. The average salary package is 4 lakhs per anum and the highest was  8 lakhs per annum. Alumni network is good.

There are 7 hostels for boys including one NRI hostel. Hostel fee (regular) is INR 65000/-(including mess) and NRI hostel fee is INR 85000 (excluding mess). PGs/flats are not very good. Food is average in mess and canteen food is good. Classrooms are average, labs are good, Library is very good, the Dining hall is also good and a nice Wifi.

The eligibility criterion is that you should have 125 marks or above in all three subjects (PCM) for applying and you have to give MHT CET or JEE MAIN entrance exam. 

The college runs in two shifts one is from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm and second is from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. Quality of teaching is good. Overall experience is very nice.

The course fee is INR 90726/- per year. Government scholarships are provided according to the annual income of the family. 30% to 40% student get a scholarship.

SSC (Sinhgad Student Council) is made for students by the college which is one of the main event organizing body. Abvp is another association for students walfare. The main fests are carnival and karandak. Karandak and carnival both include all technical + non-technical activities. College life, of course, is not easy but yet enjoyable due to these fests.
