Placements and Internships

2.5

Placement scenario is a little bit average at our college. But if you have that ability, knowledge, and guts, you will definitely get placed. Many top companies like Microsoft, Mahindra, Accenture, Larsen and Toubro, Infosys, hero, Maruti Suzuki, Kirloskar, etc. visit our college for the placement. Accenture is a mass recruiter for our college. The average salary for engineers is INR 3 lakhs per annum and the highest salary is INR 5.5 lakhs per annum. 30% of the students were placed from the last year batch. Our alumni always guide us.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

In total, we have 3 hostels; two for girls and one for boys. The hostels are well built and have proper facilities. For a year, the hostel fee is INR 40000. When it comes to food or meal, we have plenty of options available. For girls and boys, there is separate mess available in the campus. And also we have 2 canteens available which serve good food. The infrastructure is well built and developed. The laboratories are well equipped with materials required, the classrooms are good. We have a huge library with many numbers of books available. Clean and hygienic dining halls are there and the campus is fully wifi enabled.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

As I took the admission in the year 2016, the admission was done purely on the basis of MHT CET marks. The eligibility criteria was that you should pass in HS examination and give MHT CET exam. There was also JEE MAIN exam. For mechanical engineering, the cut-off for the open category was 76 out of 200.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Our class timings are not so hectic. We start around 9:15 am, then we have two classes of one hour each. After that, we have a small break of 15 minutes, then again two classes are there. Afterwards, a 45 min lunch break is provided then again three classes. So the college timing is about 9 am to 5 pm. Exams are properly conducted within the time to study. A number of assignments are there and a lot of projects to do. The teaching staff is good and well educated and the teaching quality is excellent. Overall experience is good.

Fees and Scholarships

2.5

Course fee for open category is INR 1 lakh, around 70% of the students can apply for different scholarships. No such loans are required because we get 50% of our tuition fee back. But in case it is required, many nationalized and private banks provide the loans.

Clubs and Associations

4

We have two students' societies which are very much helpful. They celebrate the festival and help in campus activities. We have different clubs available which play different sports and games. The main festival for all is SINHGAD KARANDAK, it is the best event for all. We also have technical fests such as techtonic and we also have sports and cultural activities. The overall life in college is amazing and enjoyable.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To be eligible for 4 years degree course of Mechanical Engineering you should secure about 89-90% in HSC exam and to be eligible for 3 years for direct second-year degree course of Mechanical Engineering you should secure 83-85% in diploma in the same stream. There is not any admission exam as admission is based on cut off and pure merit basis. The admission process is simple and the guidelines are provided by the administrator during admission.
