From A.K.T.U counseling: In getting admission in B.tech the person should have the respective ranks of their branches which is shown at AKTU official site. The same procedure is for MBA students also. 2. Through management quota: Students should have 75% in the 12th class and also pass the entrance exam. I got admission through A.K.T.U counseling and I have 18456 ranks in general category. I got a Mechanical branch from Fw seat. For B.tech course there are different cutoffs ranks for the branches Such as: For Cs- 8,000 to 11,000 For Me- 18000 to 21,000 For Ec 15,000 to 18,000
