Krish Katta's Review on CVR College of Engineering

Many big companies like Capgemini, Amazon, HP, Flipkart including around 30-40 companies recruit students from this college. The average salaries range from INR 3 Lakh to 4 Lakh and the highest goes till 21-25 LPA. Around 70-80 percentage of students get placed every year.

There is only one boy's hostel and the fees is around INR 70000 per year. There are not many hotels near to the college. There are few which cost around 4thousand per month. The food is amazing in the College canteen and the average cost per meal is 40 INR. The classrooms and labs are very well maintained the dining hall is neat and good there is a WiFi in college hostel and a college WiFi is being installed soon.

The eligibility criteria for admission in this college is 10+2 along with TS EAMCET examination which is conducted by Telangana State Government. I got into this college via EAMCET examination. The cutoffs for this college is pretty good you will be admitted based on your caste and reservation. The damn sure cutoff is around 4000 rank in EAMCET exam for all the castes.

The class timings are from 9:05 AM TO 3:55 PM. There will be separate time given for tutorials and stuff. The faculty is well experienced and are clear in solving doubts. I can say this is the college with the best academics and is one of the top 10 Engineering Colleges in Hyderabad.

My course fee was INR 62000 per 2 semesters which now is INR 92000. Yes, scholarships are available for minority students and top rankers. Around 40-50% of students get scholarships depending on their castes. Loans will be provided by most of the banks like SBI, HDFC etc.

There are many societies and clubs like Technolites, Mechnovates IEEE etc. The main festival is CIENCIA it includes all Technical and non Technical events and all. The overall College life is good with all the required facilities in-campus.
