I have no idea about internships but engineering students are well placed in this college.
Well, I don't stay in the hostel but one of my friend stays and he says it is good. PGs are also quite near to the college. A few days back one of my friend shifted to PG and the rent was around INR 5000. The food quality in PG is also good and per meal, it will cost only 60 rupees. The quality of classroom, lab facilities, and dining halls are quite good but the WiFi connection is quite slow.
The eligibility criterion is Bachelor degree in life sciences and 60% aggregate in life sciences under graduation (B.Sc biotechnology). I did not take any entrance exam.
The college starts at 9:00 am and after two classes there is a break for students for tea & puff and then the class starts again and then at 1 pm there is a lunch break and in the last class there is mostly PBL (Project-based learning) and at 4 pm the classes end. The professors are good and they teach us through the projector and new techniques. I had an awesome experience.
The course fee at BS Abdur Rahman University, [BSARU] Chennai is INR 30000. Minority students are given scholarship and no loans are needed.
There is a student alumni club and a students union team. College fest day and college sports day are also conducted by the college and the college life is awesome.
