Quite a lot of companies come to recruit from my college, like TCS, Infosys, etc. The alumni network is quite solid in my opinion, there are emails about many events happening in the college to your registered email id. There is also a alumni login which is provided to you which you can use to login to the alumni website.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

Professional classrooms and labs. Wifi is available but signals aren't strong everywhere. Wifi speed is awesome though. There are two canteens and two Cafe Coffee days. Two vending machines in VIT campus for snacks and one for drinks.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

I completed my Diploma in electronics and telecommunications with a final year average of 87%. The cutoff for my course at my college was around 84% for the open category.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

The punctuality of the teachers is impeccable. They teach the content in a manner to connect with the students. They are always ready to help out with any doubts or problems any student faces. The agenda is planned before the syllabus is taught and there are electronic study aids like lecture capture in case any student is absent for a lecture and wishes to catch up to the syllabus. Notes are provided but the use of reference books is promoted which are available from the library. Awesome campus though!.

Fees and Scholarships

3

Annual fees for open category is around INR 1.4 lakh. There are various scholarships available to the students. For the open category there is Tata scholarships.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

There is the Student Council which organises the VERVE, and many stellar events. Then there are committees like ISTE, IEEE, IETE ,CSI, ETSA, E-Cell, Placement committee, etc . There are events held almost more than twice a week once the committees are elected. It is refreshing and quite fulfilling if you are doing it right (join a committee, it's awesome you get experience and also you make friends).
