Placements and Internships
I have not done any internship previously. Many Real Estate companies like 'pink click', 'address of choice' etc hire the marketing students from our college. There are many companies like 'Mudra group', 'Indegene', 'Capgemini' etc hire the HR & Finance students. The main role of the marketing and sales students is to understand the customer & market demand, satisfy the customer's need & increase the growth and profit of the company. The average salary is INR 4.5 lakh per annum. The alumni meeting is organized by our faculty and the top most person of our college.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
* There are 4 hostels(2 hostels for girls, 2 hostels for boys). The hostel fee is INR 6,250 per month and the deposit money is INR 10,000.
* There are many PGs available for girls and boys near our college. The rent is INR 6000 for 2 sharing.
* The food is tasty & healthy and the price is less.
* The quality of Classroom, Labs, Libraries is very good and the infrastructure is also good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria is he/she has to complete the graduation with more than 50% marks for doing MBA. The admission procedure is a telephonic interview, Face to face interview. I have attended MAT 2016 Examination and, I have scored good marks. On the basis of MAT score, I took admission into IIBS college. The cut off marks are 50% in graduation for taking admission in MBA under Mysore University.
Academics and Faculty
* The class timing is from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. There are 2 semesters in 1 year, so it is basically the total of 4 semesters in 2 years of MBA.
* The quality and method of teaching is good, students can easily understand and gain knowledge from their respected teachers.
* My overall experience is good.
Fees and Scholarships
MBA course fee at International Institute of Business Studies, Bangalore is INR 4 lakh for 2 years of MBA
* The scholarship options are:
* If the student got 60% marks in 10th,12th & graduation he/she get Rs 50,000 scholarship.
* If the student got more than 70% marks in 10th,12th & graduation he/she get Rs 1,00,000 scholarship.
* on an average 50% of the students get the scholarship from our college.
* Students, who want to take loans can easily get an education loan from Axis Bank, UBI bank, SBI bank etc.
Clubs and Associations
* The main cultural festivals in campus is 'Surface'. There are many competition (dance, singing, drama ) that are organized by the students. The main attractive part of Surface is Fashion show. Many students participate in fashion show with the colorful fashionable dress. In this year our college organized Corporate Night for management students to develop their skills and knowledge.
* Some students may complain about lack of sleep, excess workloads and stress, but in general college life is the most beautiful and enjoyable for every student. Students can participate in cultural activity, management and sports activity. Our college organizes Adventure Learning Program(ALP) for all management students who are taking admission in our college to improve their confidence, strength. So, my college life is great.
