Placements and Internships

Most of the recruiting companies are from IT sector, manufacturing, and electronics. Some foreign companies like IFCCO Dubai also visit. Given the large network of alumni & dedicated placement cell, placements are not a concern. A fair portion of students go for Masters. Almost 100% placement in electronics, computer science and electrical department.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4.5

A Hall of Residence is a cluster of hostels administered by a Provost and a number of teacher wardens who look after different hostels. All inmates are required to dine in the common Dinning Hall, unless exempted by the Provost. The Halls of residence are the centers of corporate life in the University. Each Hall maintains a Common Room with facilities for indoor games, a Reading Room, Library, Sports Clubs and a Literary and Cultural Society. Self-governance by students is encouraged. The Provost and Wardens seek the cooperation and assistance of Monitors and other representatives of students in the administration of the Hall of residence and in maintaining discipline. Permission to live outside the Hall is given to students only if they are living at Aligarh with their parents or very close relations. Non-resident male students are under the charge of the Provost, N.R.S.C. and Non-resident women students are under the charge of the Provost, Abdullah Hall/Sarojni Naidu Hall/New Hall. There are 19 Halls of Residence and one Non-Resident Students Centre (NRSC). (13 Halls of Residence for boys and 04 for Girls). Fees for the hostel is very nominal that is around INR 1000 to 2000 month. Food is not of very good taste but it's eatable and much better than the food which is available outside. Classroom and labs are quite good with the high-speed internet and the whole campus is wifi enabled.
