Placements and Internships

4

No, I haven't done any internship but, few students do this. Yes, companies like TCS comes every year here to recruit students of CSE, IT and ECE. Most students get placed every year (nearly 60%) and there are very few students from core branches like civil, mechanical & electrical that can get placed ie, something around 20 out of 120 in a branch. Average salary offered to students is nearly INR 3.5 lakhs/year and the highest salary varies from INR 7.2 to INR 12 lakhs every year. Alumni network is good here, they come to the college one or two times and share their experiences. Most of them are working in very famous MNCs.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are separate hostels for boys and girls in Jecrc campus. Fees is likely to be INR 75000 per year. Otherwise, you can easily get hostels, PG's and rooms near Jecrc. Infrastructure is good and there is a big library in Jecrc where you can get every book you want. You can also enjoy the canteen in the college.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Eligibility criteria is that candidate must attend REAP counseling. Admission procedure is firstly you have to attend JEE MAIN or class 12th (pcm) and then attend REAP counseling. Then you will get an allotment letter which you take the admission in Jecrc. If your score in JEE MAIN is equal to cutoffs of respective categories then you can easily get admission in Jecrc.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Our class timing is 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The quality of teaching is good. My experience in the Jecrc foundation is very good. We enjoy studies with extra activities.

Fees and Scholarships

3

The course fee is decided by the University. Now my course fee is INR 77000 per year. The scholarship options are available to SC, ST, and OBC BPL students. Yes, around 35 % students get scholarships but, the fee is not that expensive and loans are not required. Yes, loans are easily available in the banks. A Few students are using the loan facility here.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

There are many clubs called Zarurat, Suhasini and much more which are working for good things. There are many functions organized every year.
