Placements and Internships

2

Campus recruitments from reputed companies like ITC, Larson and Tuobro, Reliance, Parle, Era group, etc are common. Average salary is INR 4 lakhs per annum and the highest salary is more than INR 6.5 lakhs. 40% students get placements. We also a good alumni association where we can stay connected to the college after graduation.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3

The girls' hostel itself has 4 categories under it according to the price. It ranges from INR 17000 to INR 60000 per year. The PGs and rentals outside the college are quite safe and costs depend on how many rooms you're taking but the average cost is INR 10000 to INR 15000 per month in groups but individually not more than INR 5000. Food is good and annual inspections are done for the food and costs are reasonable. The college is more than a 100 years old but the infrastructure is still strong. If you like old vintage style then this will be to your liking. Plus the campus is so green and beautiful that it feels like a different place once you're inside the campus.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

To get admitted to the University, you go through an entrance exam conducted by the University itself all over India. After which if you're selected, you have a counseling session where you can choose your course. Eligibility criteria is 40% and above in your previous degrees.

Academics and Faculty

2.5

Classes start at 8:30 am till 5:30 pm with a lunch break in the middle. Classes are from Monday to Friday. Assignments and projects are very common and important as 20% of your final marks depend on it. Exams are taken once every semester but monthly tests are taken as well. Most teachers are very old and experienced and some teachers use projectors to teach so, classes aren't that boring. I'm in my final year and I have to say it has been a really good experience for me because, I have improved academically and it's a platform for many people regardless of race, religion etc

Fees and Scholarships

3.5

As an agricultural student, the course fee is INR 60000 per year but it has increased to INR 90000 for the juniors. Scholarships are available for the students and get 100% concession according to the need. Almost 50% students get scholarships and loans are not needed.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

There are literary clubs, cultural clubs, sports clubs, NCC, NSS, etc. Main festivals include the cultural festivals, sports meet, etc. And we also have seminars where many important guest speakers come. In general, I'm enjoying my college life. Of course, as an agricultural student, it gets tough sometimes but I'm not complaining. We also have our fair share of fun.
