Since I am a first year I haven't done any internships yet. The alumni network of Christ is quite strong and many southern film artists are Christ Graduates.
The Christ University Bannerghatta Campus does not have a girls hostel but the boys hostel 'Christ Hall' is pretty good. Several PG's for girls are available within 200 meters of the campus and are really good. I myself am living in one. The college canteen is amazing. Delicious food at minimal rates is available. Both veg and nonveg are served. The classroom quality is excellent.
The eligibility criteria for my course is quite simple in Christ University, a student should score more than 65% marks in his/her board examination. The admission process for Christ University is a little peculiar. The forms come out quite early and have to track down daily , a 4 page form has to be filled with a mere amount of INR 400 and after the submission of the form our documents (class 10 and 11 marks card and id proof) and photographs have to be couriered to the University within 5 days of the submission of the form . The entrance exam for Journalism Hons in Christ University is easy to crack.
The daily routine was a little difficult to adjust to in the beginning but then one gets used to it. The faculty is amazing and all the teaching is done through Power Points in a creative engaging manner. My overall experience in college so far is pretty good as Holistic Development of a student in Christ is strictly adhered to and no one can be isolated.
The course fee for Journalism Honors is INR 80,000/ per annum. The fee of my course is not out of the pocket so there is no need for student loans as such.
There are tons of student societies. The college runs an organization called the SWO which is the student welfare organization for the well-being of its students. An in built NGO called the CSA is also worked on largely in and outside the campus. All kinds of fests are held in college. Genesis Mercaton Raabta Darpan is just to name a few.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 12th or plus 2 for my course, where you need to write an entrance exam and then a personal interview. Cuttoff varies every year and doesn't stay constant. I didn't have to prepare for any entrance exam as it was general knowledge, logical reasoning and English.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility Criteria was that candidate should be passed 10+2 examination. The admission is done through Objective examination, Skil assessment, interview, and marks obtained in 10+2 exam.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For admissions in a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) course at Christ University, there is an entrance exam and a personal interview upon clearing the exam. To clear the entrance test, candidates should have basic knowledge about the course they opt for. They should be fluent in English grammar and vocabulary. They should be well versed with 11th and 12th Grade basic economics, history, general awareness, logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude. For the personal interview, the interviewees look for speaking skills, confidence, interest in the subject, knowledge of the subject and very importantly the core values that the candidate possesses.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : 60% in boards and there is an Interview as well as an Entrance exam i.e, college entrance. I don't know much about the cutoff.
