Placements and Internships
- Both IT and core companies recruit from our college- ACCENTURE, BOSCHE, INTEL, TATA etc.
- Average salary figure is around INR 6 LPA
- Alumni network is very strong and they regularly visit our college for start-up guidance and education related guidance.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 4 boys hostels in the campus and 3 girls hostels situated in parts of the city for which bus service is provided.
- There are a lot of cheap pg and hostels very near to the college campus.
- It's great and it costs 30,000/- per year.
- Every classroom is equipped with all the latest teaching equipment like - projector, PC, podium etc- Similarly, the labs are also equipped with all the latest instruments and our libraries have all kind of books (in required quantity) that a student requires during his course time.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- My eligibility criteria for admission was COMEDK which is an entrance exam conducted every year for the admission of students in engineering colleges across Karnataka.
- Typical cutoff score for my branch of college - 105/180
- Eligibility criteria are as follows -
(1) 18-20 years of age
(2) The cleared the required cutoff for the respective branch.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily class timings are 9:00 am-4:45 pm. Exams are conducted in every 2 months and there are frequent quizzes and the end semester exams are conducted once in every 6 months at the end of every semester.
- All the teachers in my college have a very systematic approach towards teaching a particular concept, they are highly qualified and we can easily understand and apply those concepts after being taught in class.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee per year is INR 200,000 excluding hostel fee which is INR 80,000 per year.
- Students from lower sections of the society and weak economic background get full or half tuition fee waiver based on their requirements.
- Loans are needed and due to the name and fame of the college students easily get loans from private and public sector banks like SBI, HDFC etc.
Clubs and Associations
- There are various student societies like - E-cell, project Garuda, project vyoma, Raag etc.
- Main festivals celebrated on campus are- Ethnic day, 8th mile (the dream fest) and much more.
