Placements and Internships
No internship as of yet. Core companies (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Renault-Nissan, and many others for various branches) Average salary figures-around INR 7-10 LPA (estimation) and 70-80% batch is placed Alumni stay connected and regular meetings are conducted.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels are available for all the years(I, II, III, IV), with hostel fee in the range of 48 K-60K(includes both AC and non-AC rooms) Good quality PGs are available with adequate facilities to learn and gain. Cost is highly variable but around INR 4k -10K as rent per month. Food is okay(not finding favor with the North Indian students) and the cost is INR 50-55K as mess fee.The projector enabled classrooms but non-A/C after 1st year. Labs are good, The libraries have a large collection of books for study and the campus is WiFi enabled.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility- 12th Std with minimum 70% aggregate.
- Entrance exam- SRMJEEE(joint entrance test) conducted all over India There are no course cutoffs.
- Admission for the course is based on first-come first serve basis
Academics and Faculty
The class timings are 8 am - 5 pm, The performance is Satisfactory(some faculties are better in terms of student interactions and experience, Overall the college gives multiple opportunities for development and the experience as a whole is good.
Fees and Scholarships
INR 1.85 LPA is the fee, Scholarships are available for minority, disabled, special merits and high distinction students. Loans are available from partner banks (Union Bank of India, SBI and City Union Bank).
Clubs and Associations
Lots of societies and clubs are there at the college, (environment, music, photography) to racing (hybrid, electric and solar). Cultural (Milan), Technical (Aaruush), Fresher (Shuru) and regional (Melam). Campus life is lit AF.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for admission is taking SRMJEE exam and then you will be provided with the suitable branches according to your rank. If you are the state topper or rank under 100 in SRMJEE exam, then you will get a 100% scholarship. Cutoffs vary year to year but to take CSE branch in less tuition fee, you need to secure a rank within 10,000. Above which the tuition fee is increased by 1 lakh. Same goes with the other branches also but the parting rank is 25000.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The qualification criteria is 70% total in physics, chemistry, and maths. I haven't taken any entrance exams for joining.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria - complete 10th and 12th standard exams, for my campus more than 70% in 12th was a must. I gave college entrance exam - SRMJEEE - 2015 The results came out with ranks, Up to 6000 ranks got CSE and Up to 20000 ranks were eligible for getting mechanical.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria in SRM UNIVERSITY for BTECH programme is now reduced to 50% aggregate in PCM. For admission, SRM conducts an exam SRMJEEE(UG) for this apply online on SRM UNIVERSITY official site or you can fill it offline Candidates will be invited for counseling session based on the score obtained. Or Students who have secured first ranks in central and state boards in India. There is no cutoff selection is on the basis of rank and seat availability.
