Department has its own dedicated Placement Committee(Placecom) besides the Central Placement Committee. The placements are fully student driven and Placecom makes its best efforts to bring best companies on the campus. Academics and Faculty
Classes generally begin by 9 and one is finished with the day by about 4/6 pm. Though the schedule is not rigorous but the level of attendance required is &%% in each subject. Assignments & Presentations are pretty doable.The level of teaching is pretty high. Case based approach is used to understand the real world scenarios which encourages interaction and class participation
Fees and Scholarships
Top performers in the exam get scholarships and other rewards. There are also other schemes of scholarships which can be found on the institute website.FEE is not that much and one can easily get loan for that.
Clubs and Associations
DoMS, IIT Roorkee has a lot of committees and clubs such as the Marketing club, Finance club, Consulting clubs, Operations club etc, a definite CV point.Avenir and Confluencia are the annual management summit of the department. One can expect direct involvement in every aspect of management.

Academics & Faculty : My day starts at 6AM. The day has be vey hectic as MBA is supposed to be. Classes commence at 9AM and go on till six in the evening. Thereafter, we have session for enhancing your knowledge. Periodic assignments are given to students either in groups or individually. We also have presentations in many courses. The method of teaching is very good. They teach us how much we need to study on our own and guide us through that. CLasses are really knowledgeble. Apart from the academics, there are various extra curricular activities and events taking place in the college which require our active particiption.
