The students who pass out get jobs which pay them a maximum of INR 3 lakh per year. That's less than what the parents pay every year. There's absolutely no alumni network here. Students don't even know their immediate seniors.
The exams are pretty easy and almost anybody is able to get into the college. The reason for that is, the university is only interested in the money that comes with the students. There are no filters or selection criteria while judging the students. There are 30 batches of first year alone in the university. Each batch has approximately 60 students. If we do the math, there are 1800 kids in the first year alone. Further, there are nearly 7200 kids in the engineering department of the university. For them, a university is just a machine that churns out money, nothing less nothing more.
The fee here is 1.6 lakh per year. and that's just the tution fee sans the extras, On top of this, students have to buy literally everything, they take money for the e books, yet half the students haven't been able to access, to add up to all these students have to buy notes for exams. Their entire administrative structure is based on extracting money from students.
