As IIT Roorkee is more than 160 years old college it has a grand alumni base. Also DoMS has 15 years of history, in which it produced various bright businessmen. If you look at the Return On Investment Ratio, it is better than most of the B-Schools in India.

As this is the oldest technical institute in Asia, it has a very good infrastructure. The campus is spread over a sprawling 360 acres of land. The college contains classrooms, labs and libraries with state of the art equipment and facilities. Accommodation is provided to every student in the college hostels. Food is available in the hostel mess at very concession-ed price. IIT Roorkee is a green campus, stating no motor driven vehicle are allowed to be driven by students inside campus. So you might see a delightful scene of hundreds of students on bicycles everyday! Roorkee is situated near to Haridwar, which is a sacred place in Hindu religion. And in a state of Uttarakhand, so if you are travelling enthusiast, you are in the heaven! You will find number of places on hours distance from here, like, Dehradoon, Rishikesh, Nainital, Masoori, Dhanaulti, Manali, and so on... You can get here by train or bus from Delhi in nearly 5 hrs, both of which ply frequently.

The academic schedule is very deeply planned. It is closely followed as it is planned and which is given to students on their first day at college in form of printed academic calender.

As every faculty member is P.Hd holder and experienced in their eaching area, the quality of teaching in very great in this department.

Professors are also available outside classes for clearing any doubt.

College fee per semester is around 1,25,000. Scholarship is not available. While student loan is available. There is separate branch inside campus which looks after this issue. Because our's is a prime institute, there is certain concession in the interest rate for the loan.
